Prevención de accidentes laborales por exposición a fluidos corporales aplicados al Hospital Básico Antonio Ante

The research project was camied out in the city of Atuntagui, canton Antonio Ante of the province of Imbabura, whose main objective ls to implement an improvement aimed at the prevention of risks of body fluids at the Basic Hospital of Atuntaqui, to avoid accidents work in the medical staff of the institution, through prevention. A descriplive and field study was carried out with the qualitatiwe and quantitalive research modality, using as study techniques the survey applied to the health personnel and the interview that was collaborated by the administrative doctor, in which they inquired about knowledge of biosecurity in the respondents, with llttle information available. During the field study, the lack of information on biosecurity, handwashing, and medical monitoring and control in the proper waste management was evidenced. k was considered necessary to implement of prevention of comporal fluids risk for the prevention of occupational accidents, obtaining excellent results by improving tha level of knowledge in the medical staff an the importance of the prevention of accidents at work.
