| description | The role of the nurse was conducted in the case of emotional support in cancer patients, motivated to understand the emotional support provided by nurses to this vulnerable care group and their families in the treatment process. The main objective was to determine effective emotional support for pediatric oncology patients with a systematic review. The qualitative method was used with documented reviews and a systematic search strategy including 21 relevant studies. The results revealed that the nurse's role in pediatric oncology patients is secured with three key strategies: nurses should develop special social-emotional skills to understand and focus on emotional children with cancer. The use of recreational strategies can optimize communication and emotional wells. Nursing is essential to the coordination of the continuum of care and provides emotional and educational support throughout treatment. Finally, affective support for children's cancer patients is emphasized, highlighting the primary role, maintaining holistic care, which enhances the effectiveness of patients and their families. In addition, the need for continuous nursing training in social building skills and emotional support strategies is emphasized. |

El objetivo principal era determinar el apoyo emocional efectivo para pacientes pediátricos oncológicos con un estudio sistemático. El método cualitativo se utilizó con revisiones documentadas y una estrategia de búsqueda sistemática que incluía 21 estudios relevantes. Los resultados revelaron que el papel de la enfermera en pacientes de oncología pediátrica está asegurado con tres estrategias clave: las enfermeras deben desarrollar habilidades socioemocionales especiales para comprender y centrarse en niños emocionales con cáncer. El uso de estrategias recreativas puede optimizar la comunicación y los pozos emocionales. La enfermería es esencial para la coordinación de la atención continua y brinda apoyo emocional y educativo durante todo el tratamiento. Finalmente, se enfatiza el apoyo afectivo para pacientes con cáncer de niños, destacando el papel principal, manteniendo la atención holística, lo que mejora la efectividad de los pacientes y sus familiares.
