Ամփոփում:Job stability is a fundamental right enshrined in different international instruments and in the Ecuadorian Constitution. In the event that the person hired is a disabled person and the contracting party is the public administration, all budgetary provisions must be made so that, once the contract expires, a call for public tender is made, so that if the person complies with the requirements to enter the administration and pursue an administrative career. In this sense, the objective of this investigation is to determine how the execution of occasional contracts for disabled people by public administration bodies in the canton of Ibarra affected their right to job stability in the year 2022. This is a mixed research, with a descriptive scope, using synthetic analytical and legal hermeneutic methods, the interview and survey were used as research techniques, the latter being carried out on a non-probabilistic random sample of 50 public officials from Ibarra. It was concluded that in the canton of Ibarra, occasional contracts are continuously concluded for the disabled without the respective call for public tender.
