The work is the study of the documentary process of the institution as an instrument ¿hat gives agency officials detailed knowledge about organizational strategy and institutionally simple rules applied to manage documents, with a practical approach to through the application of procedures for document control and records, The importance of records management is that gradually has become an essential tool for institutions, since previously did not pay due attention to the documentation. The study in question was developed at the National Police Command Sub-area Carchi N*0%4 Tulcan City, an institution that is in a traditional culture, promoting public safety in Canton Tulcan For the development of this research will use qualitative and quantitative method, as well as theoretical and empirical methods which are critical for the developrment of diagnostic and research proposal. The line of research in which the issue is framed, is for the management of accounting information, as it is a central theme to disciplinary action, in which research activities are developed, and practical results will be achieved through the development of this research. This research work is focused in the document management system Command of the National Police of the Sub-area Carchi N"04 city Tulcan addressed specifically to institutions both public and private, the same that stimulate the process of Photo and information contral.
