Resumo:Introduction: Fetal death in adolescent mothers is a phenomenon that involves the loss of a pregnancy, being a public health problem that does not distinguish race, age, socioeconomic level or demographic location. Therefore, the aim of this investigation was to identify the risk factors that cause foetal death in adolescent mothers. Methodology: This is a qualitative approach through a literature review with a descriptive design and an exploratory scope, as it applies to different social phenomena that have not been investigated. Its source of data is documentary because it provides theoretical and contextual foundations. For this reason, a systematic analysis of the literature was carried out, through the PRISMA algorithm (Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic reviews and Meta - Analyses) based on search engines where information was compiled in databases such as: Google Scholar, Digital Repositories, Journals, and Scielo, analysing a total of 150 articles, from which a total of 15 articles were chosen according to the inclusion and exclusion criteria. The main findings include the importance of education and guidance by nursing staff, as well as the implementation of preventive interventions, promotion and prevention of adolescent pregnancy, ensuring optimal results in adolescent mothers.
