Shrnutí: | This thesis investigates the efficacy of a combined radiofrequency (RF) treatment and Kinesiotape in reducing abdominal flaccidity in a 31-year-old female patient post-cesarean section. Abdominal flaccidity is a common condition in postpartum women, especially after a cesarean section, which can significantly impact their quality of life and self-esteem. The treatment was carried out over an eight-week period, with weekly radiofrequency sessions and continuous applications of Kinesiotape. Radiofrequency is a non-invasive technique that employs high-frequency electromagnetic waves. It is used to induce controlled heating of the dermal and subdermal layers of the skin. This heating promotes neocollagenesis and elastogenesis, increasing skin firmness and elasticity. Kinesiotape, a therapeutic technique that uses adhesive elastic tapes applied in specific patterns, was used to improve microcirculation, facilitate lymphatic drainage, and provide muscle support. The combination of these techniques aims to address both the dermal and muscular components of abdominal flaccidity. The results of the intervention showed a considerable improvement in skin elasticity, measured through assessment techniques such as elastography and thermography. The patient also reported a notable reduction in perceived abdominal flaccidity, as well as improvements in her physical and psychological well-being. In conclusion, the integration of radiofrequency and Kinesiotaping is demonstrated as an effective and safe intervention for addressing post-cesarean abdominal flaccidity. This approach offers a viable non-surgical alternative for women seeking to optimize abdominal tonicity and appearance after childbirth, enhancing both the aesthetic and functional aspects of postpartum recovery. |
