La justicia terapéutica para los infractores de violencia doméstica contravencional en el cantón Chone

Therapeutic justice establishes the correlation between Psychology and the law, with the purpose of contributing strongly with the advances of the Law, and could be applied to a large number of processes, even those that correspond the contraventions of domestic violence, by introducing practices for the care and resolution of this type of dispute, maintaining a focus on supporting the victims and the study of the causes that generate these disputes in the care of the person of the aggressor. In this context, the investigation has a qualitative focus and the general objective is to analyze the application of therapeutic justice for offenders of contraventional domestic violence in Chone canton, during the first semester of the year 2024. To achieve the proposed objective, an extensive documentary review has been used. Which has allowed us to establish not only the operational concepts, but also the affirmation that it is possible, according to the Ecuadorian legal system, the application of therapeutic justice in cases of contraventions of domestic violence, taking into account the pro-homine or properson principle.
