| Sažetak: | This scientific article addresses the crime of sexting, which consists of sending photos, videos or messages with sexual or pornographic content. This phenomenon, driven by the constant use of electronic devices, has gained relevance in recent years, affecting both adults and adolescents. The main objective is to propose the creation and implementation of public policies that guarantee the comprehensive protection of victims, who frequently suffer serious violations. The methodology applied includes the inductive - deductive and the historical - logical approach, allowing the analysis of particular cases, the historical evolution of the crime, and the general laws that regulate it. Sexting has severe psychological repercussions when the content is disclosed without consent, generating anxiety, depression, shame, guilt and loss of self - esteem in the victims. In many cases, these consequences are aggravated by situations of harassment, bullying or grooming, which can lead to post - traumatic stress disorder. This research seeks to contribute to the understanding of this phenomenon and to the formulation of effective policies to reduce its impact, offering tools to protect the rights and dignity of those who suffer it. |
