Beskrivelse
Summary:Da Vinci Xi is the most updated system within robotic surgery that has innovated surgical procedures, offering greater precision. This advance impact the role of the nursing staff, who are key in the preparation, equipment management, perioperative care, etc. However, there are challenges such as limited training of robotic nursing professionals, lack of standardized protocols and scarce scientific evidence on its impact, especially in developing countries such as Ecuador. Therefore, the general objective of this research is to determine the impact of nursing participation in robotic surgeries with the Da Vinci Xi system for the optimization of procedural efficiency and patient safety. A systematic review was performed, applying the PRISMA methodology with the analysis of 18 articles between 2019 and 2025, selected from Scielo, Googleacademic, BBV Health, Elsevier, University Repositories, Pubmed and RRAAE databases. The results showed that surgical nursing is fundamental in all phases of the procedure, especially in the intraoperative phase, ensuring availability, correct functioning of equipment, patient safety, etc. In addition, continuous training improves efficiency, reduces complications and hospital stays, optimizing resources and safety.
