| Summary: | This project was carried out in the El Guaré Community, Carchi province, whose main objective was to Implement Educational Strategies for the Prevention of Gender Violence inmentioned community, the study had a quantitative approach, using methods such as analytical-synthetic, inductive-deductive and historical- logical, the research was applied to a sample of 50 people from the El Guaré Community, using the survey as an instrument for collecting information. The results revealed that 80% of the population has only reached the primary education level, which contributes tothe maintenance of cultural pat terns and beliefs that perpetuate social problems such as inequality and violence. Further more, although 94% of the population knows what abuseis, they do not actually could iden tify in depth the different types of violence, which leavesthem vulnerable. Another relevant finding was that 64% of the people surveyed sufferedabuse during their childhood, show ing how violence has been transmitted fromgenerationto generation, with parents replicat ing the patterns of abuse they suffered in their own childhood. Given this reality, the pro posal was aimed at developing educational strategiesthat contribute to the prevention of gender violence, seeking to raise awareness, strengthen capacities and promote the trans formation of cultural patterns that sustain inequality and violence. |
