Sumario:Notarial mediation, within Civil and Registry Law, emerges as a promising alternative mechanism for conflict resolution in any context, and specifically in the Republic of Ecuador. That is why this study aims to analyze notarial mediation as an alternative mechanism for conflict resolution in Ecuador, based on its viability and effectiveness to decongest the judicial system and offer more agile solutions to disputes. The research employs a qualitative approach based on grounded theory, using bibliographic review techniques, exegetical and synthetic analysis of legal regulations. The implementation of mediation in Ecuador could Offer several key benefits, such as reducing the burden on courts, promoting an environment of cooperation between conflicting parties, and preserving personal and commercial relationships. This study contributes to the debate on the expansion of notarial attributions and their potential positive impact on the Ecuadorian justice system.
