| Riassunto: | Saphenectomy is the most common surgery to treat Chronic Venous Insufficiency, involving total or partial removal of the saphenous vein. This intervention requires adequate postoperative care to prevent or manage complications that may delay recovery. Objective: To analyze nursing care in postoperative complications in saphenectomy patients, through a systematic review. Methodology: A qualitative systematic review was carried out using PRISMA methodology to guarantee the validity and reliability of the information. A bibliographic search was carried out in English and Spanish, restricting publications between 2021 and 2024, in databases such as Google Scholar, Scielo and PubMed, identifying 17 relevant documents. Results: The development of complications that affect the physical and psychological health of the patient was evidenced, highlighting the fundamental role of nursing in the initial assessment, monitoring of vital signs and implementation of care plans. Pain management, assessed through the Visual Analog Scale (VAS), and emotional support through empathy and communication are essential. Conclusion: The intervention of the nursing staff in the post-surgery of splenectomy is vital to promote a successful recovery and avoid complications that negatively impact the patient's quality of life. |
