Итог:Maxillofacial fractures are a type of trauma that range from the frontal bone to the jaw, taking into account malar bones, nose bones and upper jaw. Several studies show that the main etiologies producing this type of fractures are physical aggressions and traffic accidents. In evidencing this reality, this study aimed to investigate the frequency of these fractures at Hospital Isidro Ayora Hospital in Loja city; covering both age groups and their sex. For the study preparation an observation sheet was consider relevant data from the medical records. The results obtained show that the most affected bone structure is the nose bone caused by physical aggressions predominantly in young male adult. In similarity to other countries.
