Necesidad de Implementar la Mediación como Medio Alternativo de Solución de Conflictos a Consecuencia de la Emergencia Sanitaria (Covid-19). AUTOR:

Curriculum Integration Work, entitled: "NEED TO IMPLEMENT MEDIATION AS AN ALTERNATIVE MEANS OF CONFLICT SOLUTION AS A CONSEQUENCE OF THE HEALTH EMERGENCY (COVID-19)", belongs to a field research, justifying its development based on the study of a problem that currently exists, the covid-19 pandemic, where there was a setback in the justice administration due to the huge amount of the procedural load, it demonstrates that mediation in the pandemic was an optional, fast, effective method and efficient to solve conflicts in important areas. The use of digital means is one of the best alternatives to guarantee the agility, speed and economy of the mediation procedures with the aim they can voluntarily solve the conflict. Mediation is established in the Constitution of the Republic of Ecuador, in Article 190, arbitration, mediation and other alternative procedures for conflict resolution are recognized. These procedures will be applied subject to the law, in matters in which, due to their nature, they can be compromised. Likewise, in the Arbitration and Mediation Law in its Article 43 mentions that mediation is a conflict resolution procedure by which the parties, assisted by a neutral third party called a mediator, seek a voluntary agreement, to be seen on the negotiation matters, of an extrajudicial and definitive nature, which puts an end to the conflict. This existing issue has been verified through the development of this research work whose objectives were proved with the application of surveys and interviews, statistical analysis and corroborating with the development of the Theoretical Framework, therefore, mediation guarantees its use by through its principles as an agile mechanism in conflict resolution, where the final goal is to promote a peace culture
