Zusammenfassung:The present investigation entitled: PSYCHOEDUCATIONAL PROPOSAL BASED ON THE USE OF ASSERTIVE TECHNIQUES TO PREVENT ALCOHOL CONSUMPTION BY SECOND HIGH SCHOOL STUDENTS, FROM THE ELOY ALFARO EDUCATIONAL UNIT OF CALVAS CANTON, 2020-2021, aimed to propose a psychoeducational proposal based on in the use of assertive techniques to prevent alcohol consumption in high school students. A quantitative, descriptive, non-experimental and cross-sectional design was used. The Jessica Flores Alcohol Consumption Factors Questionnaire (2016) was applied to a sample of 40 students. The results obtained indicate that the factors that induce alcohol consumption, for 65%, are personal factors; for 100% they consider the social ones; while 75% state that they are relatives; and the educational factors for 50% if they induce and the other 50% consider some school situations that do not induce alcohol consumption. It is concluded that personal, social, family and educational factors do induce alcohol consumption in considerable percentages for research, and to deal with this problem the psychoeducational proposal raised in order to prevent assertive techniques are integrated. Keywords: psychoeducational proposal; assertive techniques; alcohol consumption; prevention; inducing factors.
