Depresión postparto en primiparas y multiparas en el Centro de Salud N° 3 de la ciudad de Loja

To set postpartum depression in primiparous and multiparous women in the Health Center No. 3 Loja, a study was conducted type : descriptive, analytical and cross in the period June 2013 - June 2014, the sample consisted 120 users in puerperium who met the inclusion criteria who completed the scale of the Edinburgh postpartum depression , its objectives were to determine the frequency , depressive symptoms and establish the relationship with socio-demographic factors. Women on puerperium studied , 30% of primiparous and 10% multiparous had postpartum depression ; the symptom that is predominated with dysphoria , 40% in primiparous and 30% in parous women . The cases of postpartum depression and its relationship with socio-demographic risk factors indicates that : in primiparous occurred in 55.6 % between 15-19 years of age, 50 % were students, 55.6 % were single and 50% have secondary education . In multiparous users ; 50 % are aged between 15-19 years, 66.7 % are students , 50% were single , 33.3 % have primary education and 33.3 % higher education.
