Primeros auxilios y soporte vital básico a los estudiantes de Primero y Segundo Año de Bachillerato Paralelo "A" del Colegio Beatriz Cueva de Ayora de la ciudad de Loja periodo noviembre 2015 - julio 2016.

The purpose of this research work it was focused to determine the level of knowledge on first aid and basic life support students in first and second year in high school course “A” of Beatriz Cueva de Ayora in the city of Loja. The type of investigation was described as transversal, perspective in the area and intervention. To collect the information a questionnaire of 15 multiple choice questions was applied to 17 students, this questionnaire yielded valid, practical and consistent development of our postulate results. Outcomes derivatives allowed to determine that there is pour knowledge of the issues, mentioning that in the firts pretest 51.24% was obtained and the posttest to 94.11% they matched correctly, reducing to 42.87% as the level of ignorance of the questions. It was carried out an intervention aimed at training on first aid and basic life support to the participants of the project which consisted of theoretical and practical classes, using didactic and audiovisual materials; awareness of the importance of tools to be used to preserve the vital integrity was taken. It allowed as to form and create a brigade trained with ability to resolve and/or assist in risk situations that maybe involve the live of human beings.
