Zusammenfassung:This thesis aims to determine the feasibility for the implementation of a small business dedicated to marketing, leasing and maintenance of medical equipment for respiratory therapy, in the city of Quito; which is intended to help people who use these devices have a better lifestyle; thus focused objectives for market research, an analysis of the internal administrative structure, a technical study, a financial study and eventually perform the economic evaluation through the application of financial indicators that we got to know the profitability of Project. In the process of inductive, deductive and analytical methods used and the techniques of direct observation and survey, the sample size was determined considering the population of the health institutions in the city of Quito, with these results applied the survey of 346 health institutions. They also surveyed the 75 companies offering medical respiratory therapy equipment in the city of Quito, as recorded by the provincial Gauteng Health Branch. In the course of the investigation, first the market study was performed, being able to determine that there is an unmet demand for maintenance of 556 tanks Oxygen Portables, 85 Oxíometros and 257 Nebulizers, there is also an unmet rental demand 2898 Tanks Oxygen Portables, Oxíometros 3163 and 2231 Nebulizers, and finally there is also an unmet demand for purchase of Portable Oxygen Tanks 5969, 5273 and 5049 Oxíometros Nebulizers, all this for the first year of life of the project; so the company would have to cover a wide market in Quito. Within the technical study found that the installed capacity of the company accounts for 30% of the unmet demand is also defined that the capacity used for the first year of useful maintenance service life is 117 Tanks Portable Oxygen 18 and 54 Oxíometros Nebulizers; in addition to the rental service, is 609 Tanks Oxygen Portables, 664 Oxíometros and 469 Nebulizers, and finally also for sales is 1253 Tanks Oxygen Portables, 1107 Oxíometros and 1060 Nebulizers, i.e. 70 % of installed capacity, also defined the optimal location of the plant will be in the province of Pichincha, Canton and City of Quito, north sector, Avanade America and Bolivia; and finally the distribution of the plant, processes and resources necessary for the operation of the company were defined. In the administrative study determined the constitution of the company, which will have the same business name OXI MEDICAL CIA. LTDA., And will be of limited liability, the staff working on the administrative side will be a General Manager, a Secretary, one Contadina two vendors a winemaker, a concierge and a driver, the same as recorded in the structural and functional organization further developing the manual functions. The financial study established that the initial investment will be $ 79,093.20, which is 49% funded with the support of the shareholders and the remaining 51% with credit in the National Financial Corporation for $ 40,000 a 10.35% pay for 5 years, in addition to the first year of life a total project cost of $ 432,760.32 are generated revenues of $ 540,950.40 and finally decided that the income and ability of the company exceed the calculated equilibrium point, so the new product will generate significant economic returns. The economic evaluation of the VAN $ 191,740.18, was also determined an IRR of 84.14%, well above the 10.35% of the capital cost, plus investment recovered in 1 year, 1 month and 30 days, defined likewise a Short-Benefit Ratio of 1.23 and finally specified that the project would support up to a 13.79% increase in costs and a reduction of up to 11.19% of revenues; so all the results of the economic evaluation are positive and favorable. According to the results of all studies, we can conclude in general, that FEASIBLE IMPLEMENTATION OF A SMALL BUSINESS DEDICATED TO MARKETING AND RENTAL AND MAINTENANCE OF MEDICAL EQUIPMENT RESPIRATORY THERAPY IN QUITO.
