الملخص:The general objective of this research, entitled Audiovisual resources for teaching-learning in Language and Literature in the sixth grade of the Zoila Alvarado de Jaramillo School, was to determine the influence of audiovisual resources for teaching-learning in Language and Literature of sixth grade students of the Zoila Alvarado de Jaramillo School, to achieve significant learning, which allowed us to appreciate that the audiovisual resources for teaching-learning in Language and Literature facilitate cognitive learning of sixth grade students. Also, the thematic was linked to the following specific objectives, such as: to characterize the audiovisual resources used in the teaching-learning process in the area of Language and Literature; to identify the audiovisual resources used to enhance the teaching-learning in the area of Language and Literature, in sixth grade students of General Basic Education of the Zoila Alvarado de Jaramillo School and to design a methodological guide for the application of audiovisual resources in the teaching-learning of Language and Literature in sixth grade students. In order to carry out this research we had a sample of 34 students and a sixth grade teacher from the "Zoila Álvarado de Jaramillo" Basic Education School, facilitating the response to the proposed objectives, we used the analytical-synthetic and inductive method, with a quantitative approach, being a descriptive, explanatory and correlational research that, through the interview and survey technique. By obtaining the results of field research and contrasted with the theory, it was concluded that audiovisual media are interactive tools that help meaningful learning between students and teachers, and also contribute to make teaching more dynamic, making use of technological tools.
