Subsequently, the alternative proposal was develop, the idea consisted to start the project in order to form a mixed choir in the “My golden years” outpatient program. Among the main results of the investigation were that by the authorities there is a lack of knowledge about the contributions that choral practice offers in psychosocial development in the elderly people, and; Likewise, it was possible to show that they are aware of the importance of choral practice, however they don’t have in their planning musical activities that allow them to develop in each of their participants skills and 5 abilities to improve their own age deficiencies, themselves that can be remedied by being motivated in activities intrinsic to choral activity. Finally, the main conclusion of the present investigation is the lack of knowledge about the contributions that choral practice offers in the psychosocial development of the elderly people by the authorities and the older adults of the Ambulatory Program "My Golden Years" of Catamayo canton and it is highly recommended to raise awareness to the authorities of the Municipal GAD and the Ambulatory Program "My Golden Years" to include in their planning, projects and activities related to choral practice.
