总结:External debt has become the engine of development of most countries in the world. The impact that this occasion can generate destabilization or crisis when it exceeds the limits of the size of an economy, with great repercussions on economic growth. This research aims to see the existence of the effects of external debt on global economic growth classified by regions in the period 1980-2017, through the World Bank, the economic models are estimated for each objective set. The second step through a model of MCO represents a scatter plot, the second is short and long term cointegration tests and, finally, a Granger type causality model. It has been shown that external debt has been shown to have increased in economic growth with a weak cointegration force in the long term. It has also been found that networks have developed. The policy implications derived from this research are aimed at promoting debt restrictions through public investments, public investment, public roads and the incentive to the contraction of debt in private companies for the purpose of economic growth with a healthy level of indebtedness.
