סיכום:This research was developed based on the theme: Teaching resources for the development of skills with performance criteria in Block Statistics and Probability of freshmen year of Basic General Education, Instituto Superior Tecnológico 12 de Febrero, the city and canton Zamora province of Zamora Chinchipe , 2012-2013 . Alternative guidelines. The following specific objectives were formulated: To investigate the use of teaching resources to strengthen the knowledge and solve everyday problems in statistics and probability; determine the motivating teaching resources in the development of skills with performance criteria in Block Statistics and Probability ; and propose alternative guidelines on the use of teaching resources in the development of skills with performance criteria of Block Statistics and Probability . To fulfill the objectives a survey was conducted to teachers and students in the ninth year of Basic General Education, with the following results : teaching resources used by teachers in teaching block Statistics and Probability are not the most recommended , it is using traditional teaching resources to teach the different types of charts and statistical parameters using the blackboard and textbooks Ministry of Education , therefore no solid knowledge and skill development with performance criteria is promoted is limited . Based on these results alternative guidelines consisting of a seminar-workshop on the use of teaching resources that enhance the development of skills with performance criteria of Statistics and Probability block is raised, allowing to improve the teacher's role as the main entity in the construction knowledge.
