總結:In today's globalized world, mastering English language is indispensable for students, and a wide range of vocabulary is critical for effective communication and comprehension. However, innovative strategies are lacking to enhance student motivation and create lasting knowledge. This study explores the effectiveness of Minecraft as a tool for enhancing English vocabulary learning among students at a public institution in Loja during the 2023-2024 academic period. A mixed-method approach was employed, including pre-test and post-test assessments, questionnaires, and field observations. The participants were 14 students from a private education institution in Loja, Ecuador. Data collection involved pre-test and post-test evaluations to measure vocabulary proficiency, surveys to gather student perceptions, and field notes to observe the implementation of the strategy. Results showed a modest improvement in students' vocabulary proficiency, with significant shifts in proficiency levels and positive attitudes toward using Minecraft for learning. The study also highlights the need for comprehensive training for educators and strategies to address economic and technological constraints. These findings suggest that while Minecraft can be an effective educational tool for vocabulary learning, its success depends on individual student preferences and the manner of its integration into the classroom
