總結:Depression is a state of unhappiness, which can be transitory or permanent, in adolescents, due to their developing personality characterized by variable emotional states, which, together with the confinement experienced during the pandemic, led to an increase in these mental disorders. The purpose of this research was to analyze, establish the sociodemographic characteristics, determine the state of depression and implement actions to reduce the states of depression in adolescent students of the upper high school of Colegio Monseñor Luis Alfonso Crespo in the Amaluza city, during the pandemic of covid-19 by means of the Zung test. The present study was descriptive, transversal with a quantitative approach, with a sample of 171 participants to whom the Zung scale questionnaire was applied. Obtaining that 13.45% (n=23) presented severe depression, 15.79% (n=27) moderate depression and 38.69% (n=66) mild depression, taking into account that the results obtained do not indicate in a totally reliable way this incidence since it depends a lot on the moment the survey was carried out, the sample used for the research, how the student was emotionally, the confinement and other factors to be considered. When analyzing the variables, it was found that the relationship cited by some authors in relation to the incidence of depression between male and female genders is 2:1 in the adolescent stages. This shows that confinement together with the changes that occur at this stage lead to the development of depression.
