Тойм:The present directed research Methodological strategies in the teaching of Natural Sciences in unit three "Biological Diversity", in the sixth grade students of the Pompilio Reinoso Jaramillo School of the city of Loja, academic period 2018 - 2019. Alternative guidelines have as general objective to identify estrategias metodológicas en la enseñanza de las Ciencias Naturales en los niños de sexto grado de la Escuela Fiscal Mixta Pompilio Reinoso Jaramillo in the city of Loja. The type of study is descriptive; non-experimental design; observational, scientific, descriptive, inductive, deductive, hermeneutical, analytical, synthetic and statistical methods; the techniques: observation, survey; Instruments: Observation guide and written questionnaire; procedure for the theoretical foundation, establish the importance of methodological strategies, approach of alternative guidelines; as a result it is obtained that the teacher has a little updated knowledge about the methodological strategies and of the great benefit that the application has within the teaching - learning process of the natural sciences, as a result it has given that the students feel little stimulated and have disinterest in the matter. Twenty-one students and one teacher participated in this research work. Concluding that the application of innovative and creative methodological strategies motivates students to be active in creating their own learning
