Riassunto:The present research entitled Guide based on Strategies of Self-knowledge to improve the Capacity of Resilience in the Students of the Eighth Class Parallel A, of the Career of Educational Psychology and Guidance, of the National University of Loja, Period 2020 - 2021, had as a general objective to design a guide based on strategies of self-knowledge to improve the capacity of resilience in the students of the eighth class parallel A, of the Career of Educational Psychology and Guidance, of the National University of Loja, period 2020 - 2021; the quantitative approach was applied with a non- experimental but descriptive and cross-sectional design, as well as scientific, inductive, analytical, synthetic and statistical methods that were used to develop this research; the Resilience Scale of Wagnild and Young was applied to a sample of fifteen students; the main results evidenced that, the majority of the sample, i.e. 60%, has a low level of resilience, corresponding to a deficit in the dimensions of: personal satisfaction with 66. 67%, in equanimity 53.33% and finally, 60% in feeling well by themselves; from these results, it was concluded that the investigated sample remains with a low level of resilience in the dimensions of personal satisfaction, equanimity and feeling well by themselves; that is the reason it was proposed the Guide based on Self-knowledge Strategies to improve resilience capacity which is highly recommended to be use by the institution
