| 要約: | The current Curricular Integration Project is titled: "INTENTIONAL OMISSION BY HEALTH STAFF AGAINST WOMEN'S BODIES DURING PREGNANCY, CHILDBIRTH, AND POSTPARTUM," is the result of the obstetric violence which has been a daily problem in our country, but it is more prominently manifested compared to the sexual and reproductive violence that women are faced to. Within our legislation, there are legal gaps in how to address such violence, despite the country having laws that protect women. It has not been observed whether these laws are actually enforced by health personnel, either due to a lack of control in the institutions where these incidents occur or due to a lack of absolute control by the Government. A deductive, qualitative, exegetical, comparative, statistical, and scientific method was employed to write this research work. The aim was to carry out a specific study using basic concepts and appropriate doctrine to aid in a better understanding of the research topic. Different legal norms from our country and other countries will also be analyzed, exploring the institutional factors that contribute to its perpetuation, as well as the physical and psychological consequences experienced by women who are victims of this violence. Surveys and interviews will be conducted with women who have experienced such violence, as well as with medical professionals and legal experts, to determine their opinions on the causes and consequences of obstetric violence and to find a viable solution to the issue at hand. The obtained results will help establish the rights that are violated for pregnant women within healthcare facilities. Through proactive guidelines, a solution will be determined, such as public policies, to eradicate this violence. |
