| Summary: | The present Curricular Integration Work denominated: Proposal of didactic strategies to optimize memory in first cycle students of the Law Degree of the Legal, Social and Administrative Faculty, 2024 -2025, had as general objective: To design a proposal of didactic strategies to optimize memory in first cycle students of the Law Degree of the Legal, Social and Administrative Faculty, 2024 -2025. This study adopted a quantitative, descriptive, transversal approach and non-experimental design. As a technique for collecting information, a structured survey applied to teachers was used and the data obtained from the application of the Memory sub-scale of the RIAS test was collected and interpreted. The results obtained showed that teachers use various didactic strategies, although most of them are not specifically oriented to strengthen students' memory; Through the application of the Memory subscale of the RIAS test, performance levels were identified that reflect the need to reinforce this cognitive aspect in the learning process; in response to this problem, a proposal of didactic strategies with a cognitive approach was designed, which integrates active methodologies that seek to enhance memory and information processing in students. It is concluded that it is important to carry out the proposal of didactic strategies for the optimization of memory since it contributes to the development of cognitive skills essential for university academic training, facilitating a better retention and application of knowledge; In addition, the feasibility of the application and/or the use of it is recommended. |
