Beskrivelse
Summary:One of the main strengths and weaknesses during the teaching and learning process of chemistry is the lack of interest in experimentation and the use of different learning environments during the work units, for this reason the implementation of the laboratory as a learning environment It must be fundamental during the educational process, since it provides an adequate space to enhance academic performance through the development of experimental practices and the necessary materials for the achievement of skills in students, for this it is necessary to determine the most suitable topics for the development of experiments that arouse the curiosity and interest of students with visual phenomena that capture attention. For the development of the research, the qualitative method was considered, with a cross-sectional design seeking to improve academic performance, a common problem for students and within educational institutions. It is necessary that all experiments are strictly related to the theory that is intended to be demonstrated during the school year in order to positively influence the consolidation of learning and thus improve the academic performance that students present during the work unit and provide a starting point. anchor to study future topics. In addition, it must be taken into account that in order to reinforce and enrich the laboratory practices developed, constructivist strategies must be applied during the other classes, taking into account the different procedures and topics addressed during the development of experiments to promote the achievement of better results regarding the use of other strategies. Keywords: Chemistry laboratory, practice-experimentation, academic performance, constructivist strategies.
