Riassunto:Research on material recycling as a teaching resource in the area of Natural Sciences, to contribute to the conservation of the environment with the students of eighth year of basic general education, parallel A morning section of College High School Pío Jaramillo Alvarado city of Loja. 2014-2015 school year, it had as its general objective, implementing recycling material as a teaching resource in the area of Natural Sciences. The research had a quality- quantitative approach, depending on the characteristics and nature of the research object was a pre-experimental study, the study gave transversal, research was descriptive explanatory type; and, where it was performed, the study was campo.Se used the inductive, deductive and analytical and synthetic methods as a technique, the survey with his instrument the questionnaire was applied to the teacher and 25 students from eighth year of Education Basic General of the institution where the research was conducted. After processed and analyzed the information gathered was obtained as a result of the improvement in the implementation of recycling material as a teaching resource in the contents of Natural Sciences; and finally it concluded that it was effective implementation of the workshops as was reflected in all indicators after applying waste recycling as teaching material for teaching natural science
