| Yhteenveto: | The Degree Project entitled: The linguistic system in the teaching and learning of oral communication in the sixth grade, Unidad Educativa Fiscomisional "La Dolorosa", Loja 2021-2022, gives importance to strengthening learning in sixth-grade students, for it was proposed as a general objective: To determine how the linguistic system affects the teaching and learning of oral communication; likewise, the specific objectives were to: substantiate theoretically the relevant aspects that make up the linguistic system and communication in teaching and learning for further analysis; Analyze the use of oral communication within the linguistic system to provide the necessary information and collect the importance of didactic activities for practical learning and design an alternative proposal to improve learning processes and oral communication in the classroom. This study was conducted under a mixed approach of descriptive type, with a non-experimental and statistical design, using various methods of study, including scientific, documentary, statistical, etc. The techniques are observation, survey, and interview; the instruments are the observation form and questionnaire, and the sampling method is probabilistic. The sample population used was 32 students and 1 teacher with the procedures related to the diagnosis, theoretical foundation, and design of the proposal based on the didactic guide. It is concluded that based on the analysis of the literature of the variables, it was possible to verify the information of the relevant aspects that were the components of the linguistic system, whose value served us to analyze the situations in the formative process of the students. Likewise, thanks to its construction and organization, an object of study was elaborated, which includes fundamental data to be applied to the daily practice of the teacher.
