| Summary: | The labor inclusion of people with disabilities is a global challenge, especially in Ecuador, where, despite legislation that promotes equal opportunities, structural, social and emotional barriers persist that hinder their effective integration into the labor market. Thisstudy focuses on the company Agrícola Minera S.A., located in Cantón Camilo Ponce Enríquez, whose objective is to analyze the impact of labor inclusion on the emotional development of workers with disabilities. The methodology used a mixed approach, applying surveys to 18 employees with disabilities, complemented with direct observations and documentary review. The results indicate that 75% of the workers report a significant improvement in their emotional well-being by feeling part of the organization. However, barriers were also identified, such as the lack of work adaptations in 60% of the cases and a perception of unequal treatment by 40% of the respondents. In addition, 50% perceive limitations in professional development opportunities and 30% highlighted stigmatization as a recurrent obstacle. In terms of conclusions, it is highlighted that labor inclusion generates a positive impact on the emotional quality of life of workers but requires greater corporate commitment to eliminate barriers and promote a more equitable environment. It is essential to strengthen awareness-raising strategies to promote an inclusive and sustainable culture. The study highlights the need for a comprehensive approach that addresses recruitment, career development, emotional well-being and full integration of people with disabilities in the workplace, proposing strategies to improve the adaptation of workers and an inclusive environment |
