| Samenvatting: | This thesis entitled: THE DEFINITION OF USER PROFILE OF INTERNATIONAL UNIVERSITY LIBRARY SEK, ECUADOR TO OFFER THE UNIVERSITY COMMUNITY AN INFORMATION SELECTIVE DISSEMINATION EFFICIENT SERVICE. YEAR 2014, it was prepared in accordance with the legal provisions of the National University Loja. The following general objective was to Tend to university libraries offer specialized and personalized service for researchers, teachers and students, allowing keep them informed within the parameters of scientific rigor, quality and reliability was raised. The methods used were: Scientist; Description; Inductive; Deductive; Statistical Model. The following techniques and instruments were used: Survey was applied to Researchers, International University SEK Researches, Educators and Students to determine the information required in defining the type of library users; and Survey Library Staff, to establish the relationship of the service of dissemination of information from users. From the results of the survey applied to users, it was determined that 86% of researchers; 77% of teachers and 21% of students determined that the establishment of the type of users is performed based on the main activity that meet; 86% of researchers; 79% of students and 77% of teachers by Education Level; and, 72% of students; 58% of teachers and 14% of researchers in the Information Needs. According to the of answered the Library Staff 72% of the Library Staff notes that the Selective Service Information Dissemination is established based on the Type of Users; 14% to the Information Needs; and 14% users training levels. |
