Estudio de Factibilidad para la implementación de una Empresa de servicios funerarios, en la ciudad de Zamora

The present project entitled "STUDY OF FEASIBILITY FOR THE IMPLEMENTATION OF A FUNERAL SERVICES COMPANY, IN ZAMORA CITY", it seeks to take advantage of a business opportunity within this market that has not been exploited yet; this being a service that requires citizenship so that people do not have to worry about the entire procedure to be performed when a family member dies. In the first place, objectives were set that will help determine the feasibility of the project for the implementation of a funeral services company, for which it was necessary: to conduct a market investigation in order to determine the offer and demand of funeral services to local level; establish a technical study to identify the location, production capacity of the company, project engineering, company structure and functions manual; conduct the financial study in order to determine the costs and expenses incurred in it; and perform the financial evaluation, through the indicators and financial ratios and sensitivity analysis, to establish the feasibility of this project. For the development of the present study, certain methods and techniques were required, which facilitated the investigation. The methods used were: the scientific method that allowed to identify the problem, analyze it and draw conclusions, through a logical-structured procedure to carry out the present project; deductive method, served for the construction of the theoretical framework, which is what directs the research to give background and form to the theoretical referents of the theme of "Funeral Services Enterprise"; 6 Inductive method, allowed to see which are the most relevant facts that were subsequently given corresponding solution; descriptive method, through which it was possible to detail the results obtained through a systematic process for the elaboration of the present project. The techniques used were: the Survey, was used to collect information specific to the demand and supply; direct observation provided information about the behavior of different factors that are directly and indirectly linked to the project's themes. Within the results obtained in the Market Study, a number of 14,434 service customers were obtained who are concentrated in the urban area of the city of Zamora, of which 2.55% of the mortality rate is considered. 368 people; and in terms of acceptance, the implementation of a funeral services company as a result was obtained that 80.48% are willing to acquire this new service; what represents the effective demand of the project; while the Unsatisfied Demand is 182 services. In reference to the Technical Study, the technological component was determined, the physical space, the size of the plant, the location, the installed capacity that is 182 services and a used capacity of 182 services. For the execution of the project an investment of $ 90,494.82 is required; which will be financed by 33.70% by the partners and 66.30% by a financial institution. The cost of the services will be $ 700.00; $ 1000.00 and $ 1500.00. The Financial Evaluation determined: the net present Value that is $ 137,305.17; the Internal Rate of return is 40.10%, in the Benefit Cost Ratio the profit will be 0.37 cents for each dollar invested; The Capital Recovery Periodis 2 years, 11 months and 19 days, the Sensitivity Analysis with increase in costs of 16.12%; and with the decrease in income of 11.75%. Finally, it is concluded that the project is feasible and it is recommended to put it into practice.
