| 總結: | The purpose of this study is to assess intercultural communication associated with the practices, traditions and knowledge of the indigenous culture of the Yacuambi canton, with the intention of promoting appreciation and respect for their ancestral culture and enriching interculturality in the regional context. To this end, an ethnography was conducted through interviews with community leaders, as well as elders and young people who share their visions and experiences, and, in addition, a descriptive approach was implemented through surveys to determine the level of cultural knowledge in the community. The results show a deep appreciation of traditions, such as Capak Raymi and Inti Raymi, which stand out for their relevance in cultural identity and social cohesion. More than 65% of the participants indicated that they actively participate in these festivities. However, challenges are identified such as the loss of ancestral languages and the influence of modernity, especially among young people. The Yacuambi community preserves their ancestral knowledge and traditions to create an ethnic identity that they can proudly call their own. These educational institutions, along with technology, work hand in hand to ensure that these practices are not only preserved but also taught at the same time. Community leaders then take center stage in the transmission of wisdom and intercultural mediation. As a result, preserving these ancient practices and immersing them in a school environment along with technology requires modern strategies. It is crucial to promote respect for such diverse cultures. This not only helps ensure sustainability but also develops the pillars for interculturalism in a globalized world |
