Opis
Sažetak:This work of curricular integration has been developed within the framework of the project of linkage with society belonging to the career of Public Administration of the National University of Loja called "Co-construction of Participatory Neighborhood Solutions - Zone 7 Ecuador" and aims to contribute to the construction of effective solutions to the demands of the citizens that make up the San José Alto neighborhood belonging to the Sucre parish of the canton and province of Loja, year 2022. For this purpose, processes that promote community participation and organization have been applied, and collective diagnoses have been carried out with the participation of the neighborhood board and residents in order to detect the existing problems and, based on this, support the design of solutions to improve the local reality. The methodology used to achieve the objectives was based on action research, using surveys applied to the representatives of the families that make up the San José Alto neighborhood, interviews with key actors and observation sheets as tools for gathering information; for the analysis of the data obtained, the descriptive method was used to characterize the sector and the analytical-synthetic method was used to examine the existing problems and determine the findings. Once this process was completed, it was detected that the highest priority problems are the lack of asphalting in the secondary streets, the lack of security in the area and the absence of a community house. In order to solve the existing problems, an action plan is proposed to strengthen neighborhood management and generate a higher level of participation, since we are aware that citizen involvement is essential to improve public action and strengthen governance.
