Adicionar Tag | Resumo: | Teleworking was an alternative adopted to give continuity to the educational work of the Pío Jaramillo Alvarado School, due to the sudden suspension of face-to-face activities of the Ecuadorian educational system, due to a global pandemic pro Covid -19, for this work it was proposed to achieve the following objectives: To determine the incidence of teleworking in the academic work of the teachers of the Pío Jaramillo Alvarado School during the health crisis caused by Covid -19, to assess the academic work of teachers with the introduction of teleworking. The methodology used in this study was with a mixed approach, where a survey was applied to the teachers of the school, which was processed through EXCEL, obtaining the results in percentage. In addition, interviews were carried out based on questions addressed to the highest authority of the College and a teacher. To measure the incidence of teleworking in the academic tasks of teachers, the Likert Scale was used. The principal results showed that the incidence of teleworking in the work of teachers was 1.25 points below the work carried out before the implementation of the virtual modality, from the perspective of teaching, teleworking brought with it an alteration in the traditional way of developing their work, since teachers were not prepared to teach or to give classes online and some students did not have the necessary resources to access these classes. This research highlights the importance of the contritbution of the academy in topics related to technology in educational institutions of the country, since the current educational system is limited in terms of digital globalization. It is important top pay attention to this for the future. |
