Summary:The present work of Thesis titled “Design and Construction of a System Prototype for the Pumping of Water by Means of Solar Energy”, one carries out a study about each one of the electric components of a system of pumping, with the purpose of establishing a methodology for the calculate of these systems. The work consists of four chapters. In the first, general aspects are picked up on the solar energy as origin, development and peak that are also presented had the photovoltaic energy around to the of the world the advantages and disadvantages that this it presents. The second contain the theoretical foundation of the systems of photovoltaic pumping where is carried out the description likewise of each one of the elements that intervene in the project of pumping of water, also are presented the advantages and disadvantages that has the solar pumping of water. The third describe the realization of the methodology and calculate established it leaves the solar system, analyzing each component of this as for electric parameters. The quarter consists of an economic-environmental analysis of the system that will allow to know if the project is viable.
