At present most of our Comprehensive Organic laws including the Penal Code recognize community service as an alternative to prison, but on transit in regard to traffic offenses has not been established at this as an alternative to help offenders, cooperate with their work to society and not dictate custodial measures. The community work aims to avoid some of the drawbacks of imprisonment, and especially that involving the separation of offenders from society, haciéndosele participant while the public interest to have to cooperate in activities They have that character. In order to facilitate the reintegration, avoiding jail and involving the social community in the implementation of sanctions. That is why this research work aims the study of community work as an alternative to imprisonment penalty when a driver commits a traffic violation
