সংক্ষিপ্ত:Meeting the needs of patients is an important aspect of health care; To achieve this, services must be offered in a timely and quality manner according to the needs of the user. For this reason, it is important to carry out constant evaluations of the care provided, to identify the aspects in which there is a deficit in the actions of Nursing in order to correct and improve. The objective was to determine the level of parental satisfaction with regard to nursing care. It is a study with a quantitative approach, with a descriptive scope and a cross-sectional cohort. We worked with a sample of 236 parents of hospitalized children. The applied technique was the survey, using the CARE-Q instrument. The results obtained related to sociodemographic characteristics determined that the predominant age is 21-30 years; in sex, women; marital status, free union; the level of education, bachelor and 65.3% had 1 to 3 days of hospitalization. The level of perceived satisfaction was high in 92.8%, the best-rated scale was monitored and followed-up with 91.9%, while the lowest-rated scale was comfort with 20.8%. It was evidenced that the level of satisfaction according to sex, marital status and days of hospitalization was high. Despite the results obtained, there are aspects such as: providing information, establishing physical contact and being aware of the night shifts where emphasis should be placed to achieve better results.
