Shrnutí:The present investigation had as general objective: to analyze the importance of the learning experiences of children from 2 to 3 years old. The research was non- experimental based on a mixed approach. The methods used were descriptive, analytical-synthetic and deductive-inductive. The instruments and techniques that helped with the collection of information were the observation, the survey applied to the teachers to determine their knowledge about the learning experiences and the Bayley Scale of Child Development that evaluated the cognitive and psychomotor development index. This study stems from a macro research project of the Initial Education Career, where 11 Child Development Centers that are under the coordination of the Ministry of Economic and Social Inclusion were considered; with a population of 56 children, and 6 teachers, from the Caritas Felices Child Development Center, extracting as a sample 8 children between the age of 2 and 3 years and 2 teachers. In the results obtained, it was observed that 38% of the children had an inadequate mental development index and 62% an inadequate index; and in psychomotor development, 50% of children are at an index that is not very appropriate for their age, for which an activity guide composed of creative and innovative learning experiences was designed, which was delivered virtually to the Child Development Center for later application. Therefore, it is concluded that it is important to apply learning experiences as a didactic tool, with the purpose of enhancing the cognitive development of children, to achieve an integral development according to their age.
