Gaia:The active didactic strategies encourage the participation of students in the development of the classroom process, and encourage their interest in learning, thus enhancing their academic performance; for the development of this research, the following objective was set: << To enhance the academic performance of students through the implementation of active teaching strategies that allow their participation in the development of the teaching-learning process of Chemistry. >>The inductive method was used, starting with direct observation of the development of the TLP of Chemistry, it was determined the limited implementation of active teaching strategies, little student participation, and disinterest in learning, affects their academic performance; then proceeded to the literature search to find alternative solutions to the identified reality; the approach was qualitative, it allowed characterizing the classroom process which guided the intervention actions; according to the nature of the information, it corresponds to Participatory Action Research, through the development of the educational proposal, we interacted with the students, encouraging their participation through the implementation of active didactic strategies to improve their academic performance; According to the temporality, it is transversal, it was carried out in a short period of time; once the problem was identified during the direct observation of the development of the TLP, we proceeded to search for bibliographic information to find a solution to it; then we developed the intervention proposal that generated positive results in relation to the academic performance of students; obtained through evaluation and research instruments, we established that the didactic strategies implemented in the development of the TLP: Learning by stations, learning based on games and explanatory-illustrative; promoted the active participation of students, significantly improving their academic performance. It is concluded that the academic performance of students in the subject of chemistry is enhanced by the implementation of active didactic strategies.
