| Sammanfattning: | The present research work includes a legal study of the labor rights of informal workers in Ecuador and the application of public policies in social security. This issue is relevant since current public policies are not sufficient to fully guarantee the rights of these workers, which perpetuates their situation of vulnerability and precariousness. A detailed analysis of existing policies that seek the inclusion of informal workers in the social security system is carried out, identifying possible obstacles and proposing improvements. Through this study, we seek to understand the legal and institutional framework that supports these policies, in order to guarantee the full exercise of labor and social security rights for this group. It also focuses on proposing a specific solution to promote the formalization and effective inclusion of informal workers in the country's social protection system. Despite legal advances, informal workers face discrimination and exclusion in various aspects of the labor market, including lack of access to social security, safe working conditions, and fair remuneration. The lack of effective public policies and adequate legal mechanisms to make their rights effective aggravates this situation. Furthermore, lack of knowledge about their rights and inaccessibility to formal resources are additional barriers that prevent the full integration of informal workers into the formal economy. This study covers a broad analysis of legal information from a descriptive, evaluative, explanatory and propositional perspective, under a legal guideline within the framework of labor rights and social security. Various materials and methods were used that allowed the development of the research. Interviews and surveys were also carried out with legal professionals and informal workers, the results of which highlight the importance of generating a critical vision regarding the labor rights of informal workers and the application of effective public policies to guarantee their correct protection and comprehensive development. in the Laboral scene. |
