Gaia:As aesthetics play a key role in modern restorative dental treatments, zirconia has become a preferred material due to its benefits. However, there is still debate about which type of cement is most effective for attaching zirconia to teeth over the short and long term. In response to this, the objective of the present research project is to evaluate the most suitable cement for zirconia restorations through a comprehensive literature review. The study is descriptive and analytical, which includes the review of 19 scientific articles that are selected based on established criteria. These articles are sourced from databases including PubMed, Scielo, Elsevier, and Google Scholar, using keywords such as "dental cementation," "zirconia," and "cement bonding. The results indicate that zinc phosphate is applied in 1% of cases, resin-modified glass ionomer in 10%, self-cured resin cements in 29%, and dual-cure resin cement in 60% of cases. In conclusion, dualcure resin cement, with a usage rate of 60%, is the most frequently chosen material for zirconia restorations. The application protocol for this cement is detailed in the results section of this research
