| Sumari: | The criterion or the idea of a research degree, to provide valid and positive criteria to the University, after having made a previous survey in the Medical Specialties Program UNL IESS Hospital of Riobamba, has to do with the location of one of the main problems noted by teachers and students, what is the use of synchronous and asynchronous tools and their impact on the teaching-learning process, sufficient reason to conduct this research and for an alternative approach. The general hypothesis that guided the research was: "The use of synchronous and asynchronous tools affects the dynamics of the teaching-learning to train students of Medical Specialties Program Graduate Level Area National University Health Loja, IESS Hospital of Riobamba period 2010-2011." Methods were used: scientific, deductive, inductive and descriptive. As techniques are applied to the program coordinator interviews and surveys of teachers and students obtaining empirical information, it was analyzed, processed and confronted with the theoretical framework. The main results show that the Programme of Medical Specialties, National University of Loja, in the Hospital of the Social Security Institute, IESS, in general, sometimes using synchronous tools, understood as the tools used forcommunication that occurs at the same time, regardless of the distance to mediate between users, the best known are: chat, video conferencing, MSN, Yahoo Messenger with the voice, skype, the FlashMeeting. Of all these tools synchronous, we say that the Video Conferencing is the only tool used with some frequency synchronous to the specialty of Internal Medicine. No other tools are used on synchronous in that program. With respect to the use of asynchronous tools, the results show also used sometimes in this case the tool used is the E-mail, not as part or requirement of the program but rather a voluntary basis, this is used both by teachers and by students. As for the files, we see that sometimes are used by teachers. The asynchronous tools are not used. We show further that the tutorials and guides are always faced. The data obtained allow us to confirm the lack of use of virtual tools synchronous and asynchronous learning in the teaching of Medical Specialties Program of the UNL, IESS Hospital of Riobamba, the only tool used is synchronous videoconferencing, and asynchronous The e-mail, voluntarily, for what it is urgent to enter a process of training for the teaching-learning process have broad use of these two types of virtual tools which will improve the relationship between student teacher; wake and maintain the intrinsic and extrinsic, the student is motivated to their own satisfaction and thoughts of those around him. |
