Miêu tả
Tóm tắt:The present research was made with the purpose of evaluating two variables of chili pepper as a natural additive in a balanced diet in the intestinal health of broiler chickens, it was carried out in the fifth experimental “Punzara” of the Universidad Nacional de Loja. They were evaluated six treatments: T1 (male witness), T2 (female witness), T3 (yellow chili pepper to 0,5%, males) T4 (yellow chili pepper to 0,5%, females) T5 (rocoto pepper to 0,5%, males) T6 (rocoto pepper to 0,5%, females), were used 300 broiler chicks of one-day old, each treatment has five repetitions of 10 chicks each one. It was used a factorial arrangement 2 x 3 (sex x varieties) arranged in a completely randomized design. The analyzed variables were: length of villi, depths of crypts, weight and diameter of the lymphoid organs, total coliform count and presence of oocysts. The gotten outcomes show that the greater villi length of the duodenum, the lowest depth of crypts of the duodenum and the greater weight of the bursa of Fabricius were registered in the T6 with 1,4 mm, 0.20 mm. 1.01g respectively. However, in the length of villi and in the crypts length of jejunum and ileum there was no significant statistical difference. In the bursa of Fabricius ’diameter highlighted the T6 and T4 with 1,45 and 1,43 cm respectively; while the bogger weight of thymus was showed in the T5 and T6 with 1,01g. Nevertheless, in the count of total coliforms there is was no significant statistical difference. Finally, in the presence of oocysts there were 13 positive animals and 17 negative animals, with a higher incidence of positive in the T1 and T2. It is concluded that the rocoto and yellow chili pepper flour to 0,5 % is a good alternative to be used as a natural additive in the balanced diet of broiler chicks because it improves the integrity of the intestinal mucosa. Key words: rocoto pepper, yellow pepper, length of villi, depth of crypts, lymphoid organs, total coliforms, oocysts.
