Aggiungi Tag | Riassunto: | "System of Geographical Information (SIG), for the agricultural areas of Saraguro County of the province of Loja in a Web environment" This research was based on the development of a geographical information system for the agricultural areas of the Saraguro county specifically to learn about the areas of highest agricultural production with the aim of achieving a better organization of agricultural information, and thus speed up the process of decision-making by ensuring the equitable allocation of resources to each parish that makes up this territory. The project was focused on a projective type research that is to say a documentary research, in which information was gathered. This information had previously been collected by the Municipality of Saraguro and CINFA of the National University of Loja. In addition, a series of techniques and instruments for data collection were employed, specifically the analysis of the documentary sources, direct observation and the non-structured interview. To achieve the proposed objectives in the research, the ICONIX methodology was used as a guide. This methodology is based on the UML unified process. In addition, to the development of the application, some tools such as the programming language PHP, the database management system PostGIS, (open source) Map Server, MySQL, and Apache were used. In this way, it was concluded that the development of this GIS software will serve as an incentive for future research and for the development of this type of projects covering more topics of interest to the county. |
