要約:Pastures are the main food, the cheapest and efficient in the ruminant’s diet. In our country, the Panicum maximum Jacq., species is the most cultivated, however, the inadequate establishment and management, scant or zero research on production alternatives, has generated low productivity and nutritional quality in this crop. The present study allowed to determine the application of conventional, organic and mycorrhizal fertilization influence over Chilean grass yield and nutritional quality. The trial was established in the Chaguarpamba canton, under a Completely Random Block Design (CRBD) with 4 treatments and 3 repetitions. T1 (control), T2 (chemical fertilizer), T3 (mycorrhiza) and T4 (organic fertilizer). The variables plant height and tillering were recorded every 15 days from germination, the Leaf Area Index (LAI) was evaluated at 97 Days After Sowing (DAS), and the forage production in green and dry matter, as well as the nutrition variables, were determined at 106 DAS. The statistical analyzes ANOVA and Tukey's comparison test were carried out in InfoStat - Software. The grass reached the highest height of 198.5 cm with the T2 and the lowest 147.6 cm with the T4 at 97 DAS. The best forage production in green matter 145.54 t/ha/year was obtained with T2 and the lowest production 60.04 t/ha/year with T1 at 106 DAS. The highest crude protein content was with T2 with 8.76 % and the lowest value was presented with T1 with 5.85 % at 106 DAS. The yield and nutrition variables did not present statistically significant differences, except in crude protein. In general, the grass presented the best results with the application of chemical fertilization in T2. Keywords: Poaceae, fodder, fertilizers, production, raw protein.
