| סיכום: | The innovative design in the subject of Biology becomes vitally important in promoting effective and meaningful learning. This research aims to highlight the relevance of providing students with a unique opportunity to explore, experiment and apply the knowledge acquired, thus allowing them to develop practical and analytical skills that contribute to connecting theory with practice. Within the framework of the research objectives, we seek to implement an innovative design to promote learning in the subject of Biology in high school students of the Pintac - Zapotillo Educational Unit. To carry out this process, a mixed methodological approach was adopted that involves the collection of information through surveys and interviews with students, this allows obtaining perceptions about the implementation of the laboratory practices manual using materials from the environment as an innovative strategy to promote the development of the learning process in the subject of Biology. The benefits of this manual were reflected in the responses of the participants, where 61% considered it highly beneficial to carry out laboratory practices using materials from the environment. Likewise, 92% of those interviewed believe that the use of environmental materials in Biology practices would help them connect theoretical concepts with real-world situations. The implementation of an innovative design has proven to be crucial for the effective development of the teachinglearning process, as evidenced in the results obtained through the classes and the applied research instruments. |
