Afegir etiqueta | Sumari: | Nowadays, the initiation of sexual relations in adolescents is a problem at the social, economic and public health level, both locally, nationally and globally, resulting in the countless increase of teenage pregnancies that compromise their future, that of their families and society. The objective of this research work was to establish early sexuality in adolescents of the Celica Millennium Educational Unit. It was a study with a quantitative, descriptive, prospective and cross-sectional approach. It was made up of 60 students between 14 and 19 years of age from the Millennium Educational Unit of the city of Celica, to whom a survey on sexuality in adolescents was applied. The information collected was tabulated using the Microsoft Excel 2010 program and the results presented in tables, which showed that of the 60 adolescents who have already begun sexual activity, most are between 15 and 17 years of age and the main factors associated with the early initiation of sexual relations in this study population are the low schooling of the parents, the sources from which they obtain information about sex, the lack of knowledge about responsible sexuality and the use of contraceptive methods, falling in love and curiosity. It can be concluded that there is limited education on sexuality among adolescents in the Celica Millennium Educational Unit, for this reason it is urgent to take intersectoral and interdisciplinary actions that could have a positive impact on the resolution of this problem.
